The collective exhibition NIT SERENA in which the artist Javier Viver participates is part of the TERRASSA COMISSARIAT 2019 cycle carried out by LabCA in the ESPAI DOS TERRASSA exhibition hall. The artist Javier Viver exhibits together with the artists Araceli Merino and Olga Simón under the curatorship of David Contreras. The exhibition of these three artists moves between the photographic work and the installation. But what does it intend to convey to the viewer? The serenity after the night, that which comes after the howling of the lament, after the accelerated heartbeat, after the dryness of the tear, with the faint light in the distance, with the whisper of the voice of the beloved. The pain, the nonsense, loss join us in the night, but our soul works.
On this occasion visitors will find themselves with a decontextualized photobook, a photograph illuminated by a light bulb enclosed in a cage and videoprojections on the white blanket of a bed.
